Fatal Car Accident On State Route 18

On August 13th, a car being driven on State Route 18 by a young man from Medina drifted into the left shoulder and struck a car with two Redmond women. The driver of the struck vehicle was transported to Harborview Medical Center with critical injuries. Her passenger did not survive the accident. Cited as causes of this accident were excessive speed and driver distraction.
