By May 12, 2015February 9th, 2017Product Liability

As of May 11th, 100 deaths have been attributed to complications resulting from defective ignition switches in GM vehicles. In addition to these fatal injuries, at least 184 other injuries have been directly linked to this specific vehicle defect.

If you or someone you love has sustained an injury from a defective vehicle, please call Seattle product liability attorney Stephen Hornbuckle at (425) 679-0742 to learn more about your rights.

News broke in 2014 that GM had long been aware of several vehicle defects across a range of its vehicle models. Despite this knowledge, GM did nothing to protect drivers or passengers – an inaction that has resulted in significant fines and a number of lawsuits. However, getting fair compensation has remained difficult for several victims of faulty GM vehicles.

When you are the victim of a company’s gross neglect and oversight, you are entitled to seek compensation well beyond the offerings of insurance companies. The best way to learn what your case is worth is by discussing your rights with an experienced product liability lawyer like Stephen Hornbuckle.
