Washington Ranks 12th Overall With Poorly Maintained Rural Roads

According to TRIP, a national nonprofit transportation research group, 22 percent of the rural roads in Washington are dangerously unmaintained. This places the rural roads in our state as the 12th most dangerous in the nation.

TRIP reports that car accidents and fatalities occur on rural roads at a rate three times higher than on other roads. Serious injury is also more common on poorly maintained rural roads, even when driving conditions are optimal.

When you are injured or a loved one is killed on a poorly maintained rural road it can be difficult to know where to turn for help. The experienced auto accident attorneys at the Hornbuckle Firm would be honored to meet with you for a free consultation to discuss your accident and help you better understand your rights.
